Cabo Verde into Last 32, Draw 0-0 vs Saudi Arabia

Houston: Cabo Verde improbably finished the group stage with a third straight World Cup tie to become the smallest nation to qualify for the knockout round after a 0-0 draw with Saudi Arabia on Friday night.
The tiny island nation off the west coast of Africa is stepping onto football’s biggest stage, defeating 2010 champions Spain 0-0 and then coming from behind 2-2 against Uruguay.
Cabo Verde’s three points put the team in second place behind Spain, who beat Uruguay on Friday night to become group champions.
Cabo Verde will face the reigning World Cup champion Argentina in Miami on July 3.
