Canada formally requests renewal of USMCA North American free trade pact

Prime Minister Mark Carney has said he wants industry-specific tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on Canadian steel, aluminum, autos and lumber to be eliminated or reduced, while Greer said Canada may have to accept some form of U.S. tariff.
