Stephen A. Smith maintains his stance on the Karmelo Anthony decision.
The sports commentator and host of the “Straight Shooter” podcast is once again using his platform to directly address Anthony supporters.
In his final episode, he questioned why people continued to appeal the decision.
Stephen A. Smith recently went on the record regarding the Karmelo Anthony case and said, “Karmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalf.” Anthony was convicted of murder and sentenced to 35 years behind bars.

“When we sit here and think about the wars that need to be fought, we have to be careful about what is worth fighting for and what is not worth fighting for,” he said.
Anthony earlier this month found guilty of murder and sentenced 35 years behind bars. He fatally stabbed 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in Texas last year.
In the podcast episode titled “We’re Entering the Wrong War!”, Smith maintained his stance on the decision.

Authorities photographed a folding pocket knife with a dark tip and gray handle used in the murder of Austin Metcalf in Texas.
Fox News Digital previously reported that the commentator said: “Karmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalf. There’s no other way to slice it,” he said in another podcast episode.
While Smith urged “viewers to think critically,” Minister Dominique Alexander, activist and founder of the Next Generation Action Network, launched a movement titled “Stand with Anthony’s Family.”
Recently on a social media to mail Advertisement Advertisement Alexander said in part: “It is important that people have access to accurate information, meaningful engagement opportunities, and a way to stay connected to the movement. We cannot let misinformation, division, or confusion define this moment.”
Karmelo Anthony was photographed handcuffed inside a police vehicle, with blood visible on his left finger.
Smith addressed the recent spike in fatal shootings over the weekend As an example of the battles not being fought in Chicago.
“We can try to fight and fight and fight about it. But you know what? If you’re going to fight this so carefully, so diligently, how come we don’t fight about what’s going on here?” Chicago? Why don’t we fight about this?”

Smith’s representative could not immediately be reached by Fox News Digital.
Fox News Digital reached out to Alexander, who serves as a spokesperson for the Anthony family, but did not immediately receive a response.
