Carlton coach admits he ‘fell short’ during horror AFL season
The 50-year-old, who took Blues to the sequential finals series in 2023-24, asked the union to move forward.
“I can tell you what you want to hear tonight, but tonight we all have to hear (about).
“We are not a very durable football club right now.
“If we choose this, this club is strong, but the fight is not there, not here.”
Carlton stands intact at Curnow, which is interested in Geelong and Sydney, and the list boss Nick Austin is waiting for the duo Coleman medal to stay navy blue.
“Our position on Charlie (Curnow) has been open for a long time,” said Austin, in an interview on Carlton’s website on Sunday.
“At the end of the season, we made a really honest speech with Charlie and any decision we make is in the interest of Carlton Football Club.
“He had the chance to get away from the break and make some renovation, but we expect a Carlton player in 2026.”
Voss’ comments came because George Hewett crowned Carlton’s best and most fair player for the year.
The 29 -year -old midfielder finished the night with a clear winner with 160 votes.
