Two held at RGIA with hydroponic weed worth ₹8.9 crore

Two Indian passengers arriving from Bangkok were arrested at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after authorities seized 25.45 kilograms of hydroponic herb worth Rs 8.9 crore.

According to officials, the operation was carried out on March 29 based on specific intelligence of the Revenue Intelligence Directorate’s Hyderabad regional unit. Acting on information received, DRI officers and Hyderabad Customs Air Intelligence Unit intercepted the passengers on arrival.
