List of Youngest Male Cricketers To Debut for India

15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became the youngest male cricketer to make his debut for India after he was selected for the team ahead of Sachin Tendulkar in the Twenty20 International match against England on Saturday.
The youngster has been considered one of the most exciting prospects in cricket ever since he made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for the Rajasthan Royals in 2025, when he was just 14 years old.
He built up his reputation in this year’s IPL, finishing as Rajasthan’s top run-scorer with 776 runs in 16 matches and breaking Chris Gayle’s record of hitting most sixes in a season.
He was named both the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Most Emerging Player in the competition and was called up for the T20I series against Ireland and England.
Sooryavanshi was unable to make his debut against Ireland as India suffered a shocking 2-0 series defeat.
