CCTV captures horror alleged moment masked men smash into woman’s bedroom in Melbourne’s north

Chilling CCTV captured the moment two masked burglars allegedly broke into a woman’s bedroom in Melbourne’s north, threatened her with a knife and stole her purse and some Christmas gifts.
Detectives from the Whittlesea Criminal Investigation Unit have launched a renewed appeal for help following a burglary in the suburb of Lalor last month.
Investigators were told two unknown males allegedly broke into the front bedroom of a home on Dalton Rd on Dec. 5.
CCTV captures the men wearing masks and hoods before threatening the woman with a knife.
The pair then allegedly stole his wallet and a bag containing various gifts from under the Christmas tree at home.
“There were no physical injuries,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
The men also allegedly broke the woman’s car window and slashed her tires before fleeing.

Police said the incident was being treated as a targeted incident.
Investigators have released security cameras and images of two men they believe may assist in their investigation.
They were said to be in their 20s and were wearing dark-coloured hooded sweaters, tracksuits, balaclavas and backpacks.
