Census 2027: Residents of Karnataka’s Mandya urged to take part in self-enumeration

As part of the Census 2027, people have been given the opportunity to participate in self-enumeration through a secure web portal, and residents of Mandya district of Karnataka have been asked to take advantage of this facility.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. In his statement, Kumar said that house listing and housing census processes in Mandya district will begin on April 16. Before this, a 15-day period from April 1 to April 15 was allowed for self-count.

He said citizens can complete the process by logging into the official website (https://se.census.gov.in/) and answering 33 questions regarding the household list and housing census.

After successful submission of self-numbering data, a reference ID will be sent via SMS and email. This reference ID will help complete the census process quickly when the enumerator visits the household. He added that if the reference ID is not provided, the enumerator will have to collect all the details again by asking the questions again.

The Deputy Commissioner said participating in the self-enumeration will help residents avoid wasted time during the enumerator’s visit and urged people to participate in large numbers and actively contribute to the census.
