Channel migrant crossings likely to DOUBLE in 2025 without action | UK | News

According to independent modeling shows, unless the new government can prevent the flow of measures, it is estimated that illegal immigrants passing the channel will double this year.

Richard Wood, one of the best modeling predictions of Britain, takes into account not only the air and sea conditions, but also the asylum grant rates, the illegal flow of migration to Europe and the size of Dinghy.

Initially based on five -year data until the end of 2024, the analysis is correct to estimate the figures that reach the UK this year based on “appropriate” weather conditions.

This year, more than 23,000 immigrants have reached England, the highest in the first six months of the year since the first arrivals in 2018, which is almost fully predicted by Mr. Wood’s good air model.

New Migration Analysis

Now, based on the latest asylum grant rates, the EU has increased the increasing sandal size and migration flows to the EU and re -operated the modeling based on air data in the last 16 years.

The data shows that Sir Keir Starmer’s attempt to stop human obsessions will be rockets this year.

The Prime Minister negotiated the agreement with France, where illegal immigrants coming to England will be changed for people who can legly come to the country.

If the weather is as good as last year, when there was an increase in the transitions in the second half of the year, the total number reaching England until the end of 2025 will be 44,628.

This is just below the number of immigrants in 2022 when 45,774 people pass on small boats.

However, if the weather is as bad as in the second half of 2023, the total number of number will be as low as 36.965. This will still be the second total total.

New policy comparison

The data provides a criterion that the government can determine if new policy measures have an impact on reducing transitions.

Mr. Wood said: “With the 37th UK-France Summit, which includes various deterrence and execution promises to reduce small boat crossings, these estimates may serve as a useful criterion in which progress can be evaluated.”

The model of Mr. Wood, which is currently refereed in a migration magazine, is using data from sources such as Met Office, Channel Coastal Observatory, Home Office and European Border and Coast Guard Agency.

For scenarios based on other factors that may have an illegal immigration and deterrent to the air and sea conditions, the number of daily small boat immigrant arrival.

There are two episodes – the first predicts the possibility of a day’s “applicable ve, and the second predicts the number of immigrants arrival on such live days.

Last week, Sir Keir said that Germany’s chancellor Friedrich Merz would bring a new law to ensure that the country’s seizure of boats for the use of people on the channel by the end of the year.
