Applications invited for A.P. State Best Teacher Awards–2026

Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has invited applications from teachers working in government schools for the State Best Teacher Awards-2026.

Director of School Education Thammem Ansariya said on Thursday that the guidelines and timelines for the awards have been communicated to all Regional Joint Directors, District Education Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha.

Teachers will be considered for awards in three categories: self-nomination (one teacher from each category), recommendation from five fellow teachers, and performance-based selection through the LEAP app.

Speaking about eligibility criteria, she said teachers serving in all managements, except private schools are eligible to apply and others must have completed a minimum of 10 years of service.

Ms. Ansaria said eligible teachers should submit their applications to the respective Deputy Education Officers of their departments by July 15, 2026.
