Charges after women die following Sunderland care home crash

After a BMW hit a care house in Sunderland after a police chase, two men were accused of a series of crimes, including robbery and kidnapping.

Police said that the deaths of a woman in her 90s in her 80s and the day after the accident were still investigated. Eight other people were taken to hospital.

Sunderland’s 21-year-old Sam Asgari-Tabar is accused of serious injuries of residents with a dangerous driving.

He and his 21 -year -old Reece Parish from Sunderland are accused of robbery and kidnapping and will take part in the Newcastle Magistrate Court on Saturday.
