Three people were detained after one person was seriously injured in an armed attack during the day.
The incident occurred in Bristol and led to local schools being locked down, with Avon and Somerset Police launching a manhunt.
The force were called at 1.47pm on Wednesday, April 1, to a report of a gunshot being fired at a taped-off car on Speedwell Road, near the Wackum bar and car wash roundabout.

In a new update, police arrested three people in the early hours.
A man in his twenties was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder just after 2.30am, and another man and a woman in their twenties were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police are continuing to investigate but have confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at this time.
St Anne’s Woods has been cordoned off as an area of concern and members of the public can expect to see increased police presence in this area and in the Speedwell area of Bristol.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We understand this could be a very worrying incident, but we have used a significant number of resources as part of our response, including the National Police Air Service helicopter, specially trained firearms officers and drone units.
