India can be exporter of sustainable aviation fuel, says Civil Aviation Minister Naidu

The new Delhi has the capacity to be a sustainable aviation fuel (pure) exporter because it is the country’s 3 September (PTI), India, Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu, with more than 750 million tons of existing biomass and approximately 230 million tons of agricultural residues of approximately 230 million tons.
Biomass, agricultural residue and the food used are among the basic raw materials that can touch for pure production that can be used as a decrease in the aircraft.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has prepared a pure feasibility study for India with the support of the European Union and with the support of the European Union.
The study evaluates the potential of producing and using Drop-in in India. In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry evaluates the presence of domestic raw materials, applicable ways of production, infrastructure and policy preparation, and the possible conditions to create a solid domestic pure market.
He added that the report, which adapts them to the best international practices and according to the socio-economic and environmental context of India, provides a roadmap for the adoption of the sustainable fuel.
The study was carried out under ICAO’s Capacity Development and Training for the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Program (ACT-SAF) initiative.
India is expected to double to 500 million times by 2030.
In the version, Naidu said that Pure is a practical and urgent solution to purify the aviation industry from carbon with the potential to reduce the life cycle CO ° emissions up to 80 percent compared to traditional fuel.
“India, with existing biomass more than 750 million metric tons and approximately 230 million metric tons of agricultural residues, has not only met its own pure demand, but also has the capacity to emerge as a global leader and exporter.” He said.
The Minister also said that pure production will not only reduce raw imports and reduce emissions 20-25 million tons per year, but also to increase the income of farmers by creating a strong chain of value for agricultural residues and biomass.
Recently, Indian Oil Corporation has been the first Indian company to receive the ISCC Corsia certificate for its pure production at the refinery in Hareana, Panipat.
Korsi refers to ICAO’s carbon offset and reduction plan for International Aviation (Corsi).
The minister also confirmed the preparation of being self -sufficient in the pure production of India and aimed to blend 1 percent in the ATF until 2027 until 2027, 2 percent until 2028 and 5 percent in line with Corsia purple.
Meanwhile, Cotecna Audit India PVT Ltd has become the country’s first pure certificate organ.
Last month, Air India and Indian Oil Corporation signed an agreement zaptı (MO) for its pure supply.
