Commuters face rush-hour chaos as motorway closed after lorry fire | UK | News

Motorists are facing rush hour mayhem as a section of the M25 is closed clockwise following a lorry fire.
Emergency paving works are continuing following a fire near junction 21 (M1 link) which caused serious damage to the tarmac.
As a result, the section of the motorway between junction 20 and junction 21 for Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire was completely closed clockwise.
The road is not expected to reopen until later today and in the meantime motorists should exit at junction 21 and follow the detour through parts of Watford, Hertfordshire, before rejoining the M25 via the A405 at junction 21A for St Albans.
