‘Hunger Games’ actor Ethan Jamieson arrested for alleged gun assault

Hunger Games actor Ethan Jamieson has been arrested.
According to arrest records, Jamieson was arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Monday, March 23, for alleged assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
The Raleigh Police Department said officers were alerted to shots fired at 9:52 p.m. local time on March 22. People.
One of the victims told police that “an unidentified suspect riding an e-bike shot at their vehicle while they were riding.” There were two other people in the vehicle at the time of the attack.

“During the investigation, detectives identified Ethan Jamieson (27) as the person who fired a single shot towards the victims’ vehicle,” police said in a statement to the press.
Jamieson allegedly attacked the three men, identified in court documents as EF, JM and KW, with a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. TMZ.
Fox News Digital has reached out to Jamieson’s representative for comment.
This isn’t the first time Jamieson has gotten into trouble with the law.
According to the actor’s arrest record, Jamieson was arrested in March 2025 for resisting a public officer.
Jamieson got his big break in the entertainment industry in 2012 when he was cast as District 4’s male tribute actor in the first episode of the “Hunger Games” movies.

Before that, the actor appeared in small roles on television shows such as “One Tree Hill” and in the 2010 movie “The Rusty Bucket Kids: Lincoln, Journey to 16.” He later appeared on the hit show “Justified.”
His brief role in 2013’s “Justified” was his last on-screen role before he stepped back from acting.

“The Hunger Games” was a huge success, with the first film grossing $695.2 million at the global box office. Four more films have since been released, including three sequels and a prequel, with another set to be released in November of this year.
The latest prequel, “The Hunger Games: Sunrise During the Harvest,” is set 24 years before the original film and follows the story of young Haymitch Abernathy as he prepares to compete in the 50th Annual Hunger Games.
Haymitch Abernathy was portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the original films and was the mentor of Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson’s characters, as he was the only other actor to win District 12.
The new movie stars Joseph Zada as Haymitch, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, Ralph Fiennes as President Snow, and Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee; all of which portray characters featured in the original films.
