Congress delegation to visit Ram Temple today

According to the party’s statement, the delegation will be headed by UP Congress chief Ajay Rai and will include party MPs Kishori Lal Sharma (Amethi), Rakesh Rathor (Sitapur), Ujjwal Raman Singh (Prayagraj) and Tanuj Punia (Barabanki). Former Barabanki MP SP Gautam, former MLC Deepak Singh, former Maharajganj MLA Virendra Chaudhary and former Barabanki MLA Mita Gautam will also be there with the delegation.
The party informed the local government about the proposed visit. Sharma alleged that the special investigation team probing the case was “just an eyewash” aimed at protecting senior leaders of the BJP, RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. “If the investigation is conducted fairly, the truth will come out. Top leaders of VHP, BJP and RSS are involved, but efforts are being made to protect them,” he alleged. Sharma claimed that registering an FIR against eight people was not enough and that those “behind the scenes” were protected. “The government must explain who these people are. Congress will launch a nationwide campaign against this and reveal the true face of the BJP in front of the people. Those who cannot remain loyal to Lord Ram cannot remain loyal to the country,” he said.
