Corporation cautions owners against false claims and unofficial collections

TGSRTC management on Friday warned hired bus owners against “false propaganda” allegedly being spread to mislead them and collect money to impress officials.

The management said in a statement that some people were approaching property owners claiming funds were needed to “manage” government and RTC officials, and warned that such actions could be detrimental to property owners’ own interests.

The company stated that there is no need for rental bus owners in service to worry, and that decisions regarding the continuation and operation of rental buses are made transparently and in line with government directives and organizational regulations.

Management urged business owners to be careful and not be misled by unofficial claims or campaigns.
