Priscilla Presley lands in Australia for tour of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane

“Don’t think about it, just do it,” he told the imprint with a smile during an interview in Melbourne on Friday. “I just do what I have to do, get this done, and move on with what I have to do from now on.”

The book’s title, taken from one of Elvis’ songs, has particular resonance for Priscilla. “I broke up with Elvis, and it was the hardest thing. It was the hardest thing for me to do. But I lived Elvis’ life for so long that I kind of lost myself. To this day, I love him more than anything, and when I left, I loved him from the bottom of my heart. I just know that this wasn’t a world for me to live in.”
Don’t write Slowly Leaving YouIt provided him with some comfort as he processed the pain of recent years. “I was able to talk about it, think about it, and write about it; all the pain you go through when you lose people you love. I found that getting that out instead of constantly thinking about it helped me a lot.”
