Danniella Westbrook, 52, reveals she will undergo six more procedures over 18 months to repair her face after unveiling the results of ‘miracle’ reconstructive surgery

After sharing the results of her ‘miracle’ reconstructive surgery, Danniella Westbrook revealed she will undergo six more surgeries over the course of 18 months until her face is fully repaired.

The 52-year-old star flew to Dubai in March to have a full face, neck and brow lift, as well as lip and nose reconstruction.

While Danniella proudly showed off the results of her new look, the actress confirmed on Monday that she will undergo another surgery to have a metal cheekbone implanted into her face later this week.

He said: ‘I’ve had dozens of surgeries, I’m currently due for my sixth this Thursday, so it’s pretty scary.

‘Since I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed osteoporosis in my bones. So there are no bones on this side of my face.

‘So they have to rebuild all my bones. It’s filler right now but they really need to make a metal bone. It needs to be put there.

‘So at some point I need to make a metal cheekbone here and attach it higher up here where the bone isn’t corroded.’

Speaking to Vanessa Feltz on her Channel 5 chat show, the broadcaster asked Danniella how many more procedures she faces.

He said: ‘I think there are six more left after this. The next thing they do is like reverse the rabbit lips.

‘Because my lip is so high right now, it’s pulling towards that side. I undergo surgery every two and a half to three months.

‘I hate looking in the mirror. ‘I recently had to have a facelift to realign both sides of my face because it was too risky, just to get this nose into a certain position so we could start working on it.’

Danniella revealed she has been trolled online about her appearance, telling Vanessa: ‘People tell me to die and go kill myself and stuff like that.

‘I’ve encountered terrible trolling but I’ve also encountered a lot of good people. I’ve had a lot of people supporting me and a lot of lovely people online.

‘I guess sometimes it’s best not to look at it, so I don’t manage my social media most of the time.’

Fresh-faced Danniella was photographed in 1992 before her septum collapsed after years of drug use.

Kicking off her love life, Danniella said she hopes to appear on E4’s hit Celebs Go Dating.

He said: ‘I live a very beautiful life, every day I wake up, I breathe as a result of everything I have experienced and everything I have given.

‘I’m single, I’m happy, I’m busy. I own a celebrity talent agency with my sister-in-law that I love.

‘Well, it wouldn’t hurt if he took the form of Professor Green (to find love again). She’s been my celebrity crush ever since I watched her on Celebs Go Dating. ‘I’d love to do that show.’

Speaking about converting to Christianity and getting sober in the future, Danniella added: ‘I’m still a Christian. I still have an ongoing relationship with God. ‘I’m sober, I still go to meetings and stuff, I’m happy.’

In March, Danniella flew to Dubai where she underwent facial reconstruction at Gargash Hospital in the UAE.

Danniella said at the time: ‘I’ve got three more nose surgeries to go. So now we’re halfway there. ‘The facelift has really changed me and given me my confidence back.’

The surgery was a huge turning point for Danniella, who struggled with a collapsed septum after years of drug use.

In an Instagram post in January, Danniella said: ‘I have so much love and respect for my amazing surgeon @parvizsadigh for all her hard work.

‘I’m growing and glowing every day xxxx thank you and I’m going in February for the next operation.’

Danniella then revealed that she would undergo three sessions with the advanced CO₂ fractional laser to improve skin texture and target fine lines and scars.

The TV personality rose to fame on EastEnders when she was 16, but due to her cocaine use, producers had to terminate her contract and she was written out of the series again in 1996.

Danniella has spoken in the past about how her addictions began: ‘I was always out in clubs and everyone was doing cocaine and it was very glamorous – but frankly it wasn’t like that at all. I was too young, too stupid, too easily manipulated…

‘I think there’s got to be someone in EastEnders who can tell young people when they come in: “Look, your life is about to change, you’re going to be invited to places and you’re going to be offered drugs.”

‘Someone who can tell them what kind of people there are, what kind of papers there are, and how quickly you’ve worked all these years.’

He estimates he spent around £250,000 on the drug.

Last year, Danniella revealed she had finally had her face reconstructed as she underwent a ‘very long’ surgery.

In 2023, he admitted that he hated the results of the facial reconstruction he had that year, until that point he waited seven years to find a surgeon to perform the surgery due to the condition of his septum.

Danniella last appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where she reached the final and finished in fifth place.
