M60 traffic LIVE: Cars stopped near Stockport as Police incident sparks long delays | UK | News

M60 motorists are experiencing delays from J1 (Stockport Pyramid) to J25 A560 Crookilley Way (Brinnington) as a police incident has led to long queues.

Traffic was stopped on part of the M60 and a major Greater Manchester road was closed following a ‘police incident’.

The nearby A6 Wellington Road North is also closed in both directions between the A5145 Travis Brow Link Road and the A560 Leyland Street. Both closures are linked, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.

Further details regarding the nature of the incident have not yet been confirmed.
