Deion Sanders responded to Shilo Sanders’ “sandwich” comment toward NFL reporter Mary Kay Cabot on Friday.

“We’re not talking about anyone,” he said. “We don’t do anything to anyone. I know Shilo had a little argument about him speaking on behalf of his brother. You have to understand, man, he’s his brother.

“And God bless Mary Kay’s soul, she’s her brother. I mean, she said things, she said things, it’s like the media is different today. I know a lot of people don’t respect the old style. I respect it, because we didn’t have that word at the time. … But Shilo spoke on behalf of her brother, and she was mocked for it.”

Shilo Sanders, who was briefly on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster before being cut last year, reacted to Cabot predicting Deshaun Watson would enter training camp as the No. 1 quarterback on the Cleveland Browns’ depth chart over Shedeur Sanders.

“Go make me a sandwich, Mary,” he said.

Shilo Sanders said she had a problem with Cabot voicing her opinion on reporting the facts.

“If you’re going to be a reporter, report the facts. Whenever you have an opinion, and your opinion is always something hateful towards Shedeur, then there seems to be something weird going on. It’s like you have an agenda going on,” he said on air earlier this month.
