Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train gets push in Jewar: Vaishnaw details proposed 813-km corridor – The Economic Times Video

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the proposed Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail corridor could reduce the Delhi-Lucknow travel time to “2 hours 10 minutes” and connect Jewar to Lucknow in “1 hour 40 minutes” once operational. The 813-km corridor, announced among the high-speed rail projects proposed in India’s Union Budget 2026-27, is expected to improve connectivity between major cities such as Noida, Agra, Prayagraj and Varanasi.
