Demi Moore says film industry should embrace the rise of AI at Cannes while sparking health concerns from fans

Demi Moore has made bombshell claims that the film industry needs to embrace the rise of artificial intelligence, saying “fighting it is a battle we’re losing.”
The 63-year-old actor offered his views on artificial intelligence and its role in the future of cinema at a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
“I’ve always felt that contrast begets contrast,” he said alongside fellow Cannes judges Stellan SkarsgĂ„rd and juror Park Chan-wook.
“AI is here. So to fight it is to fight a losing battle. So I think finding ways we can work with it is more valuable.”
He added: “Are we doing enough to protect ourselves? I don’t know the answer to that. So I’d probably say no.”
The Substance star said the world shouldn’t be afraid of what AI can do because AI will “never replace” what its human creators can do.
“The truth is, there’s really nothing to fear because what it can never replace is what true art comes from; it doesn’t come from the physical, it comes from the soul,” he continued.
“It comes from the spirit of each of us sitting here, each of us who create every day. And they can never recreate through anything technical.”
This comes after the Ghost actress caused health issues with her slim figure and fans wished her well in her latest Instagram post.
Moore shared a video of herself looking stunning in a strapless, sequined Jacquemus gown for the Cannes opening ceremony dinner, and while most fans complimented her outfit, some were worried about her.
“I’ve been a huge fan of yours for years, Demi, and I say with great compassion that I hope you take care of your health. A lot of people care about you,” one fan said.
Another said: “You’ve always been beautiful, but please take care of yourself, you’ll get too skinny and that’s not healthy.”
A third added: “Such a beautiful dress but so skinny.”
However, some fans came to Moore’s defense.
“Everyone says she’s too skinny. I’m 57 and as you get older your appetite decreases and some of us get thinner. Stop being so judgmental,” said one fan.
Another said: “She is beautiful and always has been but please let’s stop with the passive aggressive childish comments. I hope she is feeling well and yes I agree it is not healthy. Whatever she is going through she will get over it and we don’t need to be cruel while she is going through it.”
A third added: “The hair styled, the dress she’s wearing and the matching natural diamond jewelry are perfect. I love it when a stylist loves the person they dress.”
