Diane Keaton’s grieving son Duke was seen leaving the late actress’ Los Angeles home on Sunday for the first time since his mother’s death.

Duke, 25, wore all black as he mourned the loss of the Hollywood star who adopted him as a baby.

Still, she found a unique way to pay tribute to the Oscar winner: by wearing two cross necklaces in the style made famous by Diane.

She was famous for her eccentric fashion sense, which often included wearing multiple pieces of jewelry, as well as her signature hats.

Diane was 55 when she adopted the Los Angeles native in 2001, and she was 50 when she adopted her 29-year-old daughter, Dexter, in 1996.

“They’re not interested in what I do, I think that’s very healthy,” Keaton (born Hall) told People in 2007.

Duke, 25, found a unique way to pay tribute to the mother who adopted him as an Oscar-winning baby by wearing two crossed necklaces in the look she made famous.

‘We live a relatively normal, so normal life in a way.’

The eccentric Oscar winner, who reportedly left behind a fortune of $100 million, never married, despite her torrid romances with co-stars Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, Al Pacino and Woody Allen.

“It’s based on my mom because that’s what most things are for me,” Diane told Interview in 2021.

‘He had four children and I was the firstborn. I saw how much you gave up. I talked about watching her win that big win and becoming Miss Highland Park. Then we moved to Santa Ana and it was all over. There was no need to try anything anymore. I feel like she chose family over her dreams.

‘And she really was the best mother, but I think she was the reason I didn’t get married. I didn’t want to give up my independence. By the way, no one has ever proposed to me, so that might be a good answer. I should have started with that and called it a day later.’

Sarah Paulson was photographed visiting Keaton’s $29 million, five-bedroom ‘dream home’ in Los Angeles’ Sullivan Canyon on Sunday to pay tribute to him.

Ben Affleck’s black SUV was also spotted pulling up outside the luxury property on Sunday.

According to TMZ, the Fashion First author was with her when she was taken by ambulance to a local hospital around 8:08 a.m. Saturday morning after the LAFD received a 911 call reporting a ‘person dead’ at her home.

Duke, who has an older sister, Dexter, who was adopted by Keaton as a baby, is a musician and released his first single, Passenger Princes, in August.

‘He had to go to Palm Springs because the inside of his house was damaged and they had to clean everything up. ‘He was there for a while and when he came back I was amazed to see how much weight he had lost.’

The real estate flipper was smiling next to her beloved Golden Retriever Reggie in her latest Instagram post on April 11 in honor of National Pet Day.

But Diane hasn’t been seen in public since April 2024, when she dazzled alongside Alan Cumming at a dinner hosted by Thom Browne at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills.

Keaton frequently collaborated with writer-director Nancy Meyers on projects such as Baby Boom (1987), the Father of the Bride trilogy (1991-2020), and Something’s Gotta Give (2003).

The Keaton Red winemaker received a career award from Film at Lincoln Center in 2007 and won the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2017.
