Director of Municipal Administration reviews progress of Kallakurichi bus terminus

Director of Municipal Administration P. Madhusudhan Reddy on Sunday directed officials to expedite the construction of the new bus terminus on the ring road at Kallakurichi.

Accompanied by Collector MS Prasanth, Mr. Reddy inspected the progress of the project and directed the officials to expedite the pending works at the terminal. He examined construction works at bus stops, passenger waiting rooms and sanitary complexes.

The terminal is being built at a cost of ₹ 16.21 crore and will include separate bays for mofussil and municipal buses, shops, administrative room, restaurant, timekeeper’s office, ticket booking counter, automatic teller machine room and toilets.
