Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ‘kicked his own dog in the head’ | Royal | News

A royal writer recently talked about an alleged incident involving Andrew and his dog and Prince Philip’s reaction. Andrew Lowrie spoke on the latest Palace Confidential episode and claimed the incident took place at a barbecue at Sandringham when Andrew was in his 20s.

Mr Lowrie said: “The story came to me from a member of the Royal Family who is a very close friend.

“And he was shocked to see Andrew’s dog kick Andrew’s dog’s head, because I think he grabbed a hot dog or something.

“And nobody said anything at the time. And this guy felt like he had to say something.”

The author said the man “scolded” Andrew and told him to “get lost”.

Mr Lowrie later revealed the late Duke of Edinburgh’s reaction that evening.

She said: “As we were having drinks and dinner that evening, Prince Philip came up to her and said thank you, ‘That needed to be said and I’m glad you said it.’

“But I guess the real question is: Why didn’t Prince Philip say this? Was he worried about embarrassing Andrew in front of this person?”

Writer Tom Bower has previously talked about Andrew’s behavior.

He told Daily Expresso: “I have a story that hasn’t been covered in my book yet, but I think it actually points to Andrew.

“He was in Warsaw as a trade representative and was addressing a group of British businessmen at a large luncheon.

“And the deputy ambassador came and told him on the phone that he was called urgently. Now the deputy ambassador had a crooked foot, which was very striking. He had a huge physical deformity.”

“And Andrew shouted at him from across the room: ‘What the hell are you cripples doing, coming to interrupt me? I mean, it was incredible.

“And that’s how Andrew behaved. He’s a truly shocking, shocking, selfish, stupid man.”
