Former Chief Minister and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Workers’ Rights Restoration Coordinator Kazhagam O. Panneerselvam on Wednesday said AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami should be taught a “suitable lesson”. Addressing a meeting of his followers in Chennai, Mr. Panneerselvam said that after Mr. Palaniswami became the party’s general secretary, the AIADMK suffered electoral setbacks one after another on the grounds that only “unitary leadership” would take the party to greater heights. “Now party members are left frustrated and adrift,” he said, adding that “good news” would come at the end of the month.
