Dr Vishnu Joins as VC for PHFI University

Haydarabad: Dr Mendu Vishnu Vardhana Rao has recently been appointed as the Vice President of the Institute of Public Health Sciences, which has recently reached a status under the Indian Public Health Foundation (PHFI). DR RAO, ICMR president, has a position in medical statistics and previously served as Director of the New Delhi National Medical Statistics Institute (NIMS). He is a graduate of Osmania University and his career has been more than thirty years.

DR RAO’s expertise includes a wide range of interdisciplinary areas, including biomedical information, clinical research, nutrition, artificial intelligence and large data analysis. During the NIMS Directorate, clinical research helped to establish the registry – India (CTRI). Dr. Rao also served as the president of the artificial intelligence cell at the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR), where he made several national attempts. In addition, it has played an instrumental role in the creation of national guidelines for data quality and ethical guidelines for Biomedical research and health services.

Geothermal Research Center opened

Haydarabad: On Wednesday, the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) Campus received a new research facility opened by Dr. N. Kalaellvi, General Manager of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), opened the Geothermal Energy Research Center (CGER). The center was established to benefit from India’s geothermal potential through advanced scientific research and innovation.

The new center will integrate geological, geochemical and geophysical expertise under one roof. It is expected to help the advancement of discovery techniques, to develop domestic technologies for sustainable exploitation and to provide scientific support for efficient use of geothermal reservoirs. It will also focus on feeding a talented labor force.

Surveys to show the homeland of nomadic tribes: Ponnam

Haydarabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the government has allocated 400 Crore for the development of nomadic tribes where RS.100 Crore was released. He said that education and employment will be the main focal point and will call for better learning opportunities and skill training to improve livelihoods.

Ravindra noted that the developments in providing 42 percent reservations to the community speaking during the celebrations of the nomadic tribes in Bharati, he said that more steps are necessary for their welfare. He said that in life should support others from their communities.

The Minister said he was trained to help 100 unemployed young people from the most retrospective classes (MBC) to secure things. Plans to provide housing to nomadic tribes continued. He said that the surveys would capture the real conditions of these communities and help to adapt welfare plans.

In order to strengthen the political and social position of the nomadic tribes, he asked people to remain united, work hard and higher education. In addition, the nomadic tribes said that the celebration of the Day of Independence should be made on a larger scale in the coming years.

TaLangana State will establish SPB statue for Ravindra Bharathi

Haydarabad: The government approved the establishment of a late playing singer SP Balasubrahmanyam in Ravindra Bharathi. The Language and Culture Department was asked to place a statue built by the music group next to the famous singer Gantasal Venkateshwara Rao.

According to the note, the department will carry the costs of the base and related construction works. He stated that the Director of Language and Culture Department should take steps for the establishment of the statue of Balasubrahmanyam.

The decision pursues previous correspondence between the department and the government through multiple grades and letters published between July and November last year. The latest directive now allows the sculpture to be placed in the area specified in Ravindra Bharathi.
