Dragons hit back against Tigers after Gutherson sin bin

Clint Gutherson returns after 10 minutes in the sin bin and his Dragons attack, Daniel Atkinson slots a perfectly placed bomb, Sunia Turuva gets her own try line and the goal is immediately tackled.

Tigers try to break away from a short play and multiple players go for it – Tigers center Starford To’a reaches the ball first and shoots it forward, Sione Fainu collects the ball and runs clear… but the referee notices the kick and calls play back.

To’a thinks he’s backhanded and calls for the captain to challenge, but the bunker confirms the call on the field and the Tigers stay out of the fray for the rest of the game.

And then the Dragons cashed in and after a scrum passed the ball down the left, Tyrell Sloan dashed for the corner and touched down thanks to a brilliant tackle from Turuva.
