While rapper Drake is making the latest trailer for his upcoming album “Iceman,” it looks like he’s taking a jab at Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams in the process.
On Monday, the Canadian artist posted a photo of himself rocking his Green Bay Packers jacket in front of blocks of ice set up in downtown Toronto, within which the release date of his highly anticipated album is hidden. The promotion led to fans trying to speed up the melting process of the heavy blocks.
A streamer using the name “Kishka” eventually found the envelope, took it to Drake’s home in the area, and a May 15 release date was eventually announced for all to see.

Williams claimed himself as the “Iceman” by coming from behind to pull off dramatic wins in a remarkable 2025 season as he helped lead the Bears to the playoffs.
Williams then took it to another level and attempted to trademark the nickname in March, but received scrutiny not from Drake but from Basketball Hall of Famer George Gervin. The four-time top scorer and 12-time All-Star was known as the “Iceman” throughout his career.
But now Drake claims he’s the “Iceman.” And while it may be a coincidence that Drake is wearing the Packers bomber jacket, he’s known for attacking his “enemies,” whether directly or through subtle things like their clothing.

Drake has been hinting at this new album for a while now, and has been slowly releasing promotions since last summer. Considering his love for sports, he made sure to do this to increase the anticipation for the album.
At Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Raptors, Drake often had fake icicles placed on two courtside seats when he attended NBA games. They were spotted on April 12; The home team’s spectacular 136-101 victory.
Bears fans, meanwhile, have learned to enjoy “The Iceman” Williams, even if the games have been up and down at times. The 24-year-old threw for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions while leading the team to the playoffs with an 11-6 record.

The Bears eventually lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round in an overtime thriller. It wasn’t Williams’ best game; kicking two goals but making three interceptions.
But the Bears’ feeling is that the No. 1 overall pick is the right guy to continue leading the franchise, especially when it comes to beating division rivals like the Packers.
