Easter Bunny ‘escapes’ from Michigan police cruiser, recreating viral video
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Easter Bunny jumped out of a Michigan police cruiser and escaped, video shows.

Grosse Ile police said they captured a “suspicious individual” identified as the Easter Bunny.
The woman who was recorded escaping from the cruiser was later arrested
“During the stop, it was discovered that the suspect had a valid warrant for trespassing on private property and was secured in the back of his patrol vehicle. Moments later, the subject was able to exit the patrol vehicle through the ‘slightly’ open window and briefly flee the scene,” GIPD wrote.
Police said the escape was “short-lived”.
“Officers tracked down the escapee, who was safely taken back into custody without incident. Several colored eggs were seized along his travel route,” the post states. “The subject appeared to be above average speed but ultimately had no solid escape plan.”
