Woman allegedly stabs colleague with scissors in attack at InterContinental Sydney hotel | Sydney

A woman was accused of murder at an attempt to murder after being allegedly using scissors in a luxurious hotel in Sydney’s center.
Emergency services were called to Intercontinental Sydney on Saturday at 2.20 on Saturday after an attack reports.
Police said he had found a 30 -year -old woman with a stab wound on her upper body. Chief Inspector Gary Coffey was treated by the new South Galler ambulance medical officials and was taken to ST Vincent’s hospital where he underwent surgery today.

Police said that a 31 -year -old woman was arrested at the hotel and that she was taken to the Day Street Police Station, where she was accused of great physical damage with the intention of murder and attack.
Coffey said three women work together at the hotel.
He said the attack weapon was a pair of scissors and that the incident appeared in the rear office area for the public.
On Saturday morning, he told reporters, “At this stage, we cannot confirm the exact reason for this crime, except that three people are colleagues.”
“I’m not exactly sure of the conditions that cause the attack, but this morning it is a kind of working environment… You should think there is a dispute.”
When asked if the attack was “crazy”, Coffey said that it was – and “lucky that things have not risen worse than that”.
A spokesman from Intercontinental said that no comment would be made.
The 31 -year -old refused to appear in front of the local court on Sunday.
