Eighth person charged with murder after two boys were killed walking home from a basketball game in Melbourne

Eight people were accused of murder after the death of two children who were killed in a basketball match in the northwest of Melbourne.

On September 6, the murder team, who investigated the deaths of 12 -year -old Dau Akueng and Col Achiek in Cobblebank, accused a 15 -year -old child who was detained in indifferent issues.

The young remains in custody and will appear in the children’s court at a later date.

The police claim that two children walk home from a basketball match when ambushed by eight -masked people using maca and long -edged weapons.

The two children died on September 6 after an ambush in Cobblebank near Melton, shorter than 20.00.

The detectives blamed seven people of deaths on Friday.

The 15 -year -old 19 -year -old Thornhill man, a 16 -year -old Sunbury child, a 15 -year -old slope child and 16 -year -old Sydenham was accused of the murder of DAU.

19 -year -old Caroline Springs man, an 18 -year -old Wollert man and a 16 -year -old Sydenham boy, accused of the murder of 12 -year -old Chol.

A police spokesman said emergency services were called at the night of the events that reported that two children were deadly injured shorter than 20.00 at the beginning.

“Chol Marble Drive was on Dau Cobble Street,” a police spokesman said, “he said.

“Both men were bravely assisted by the people members before they passed away to the scene.

“Since the incident took place, an important investigation has been continuing by detectives from the murder team in order to define the responsible ones and collect all the existing evidence.”
