Elderly couple dies after violent stabbing inside Queens apartment

An elderly couple is dead after a fatal stabbing at a Queens apartment over the weekend, according to local reports citing authorities.
Reports stated that the victims were a 71-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman.
Both were found inside the residence with multiple stab wounds. based on to the New York Daily News.
Police officers reportedly rushed to the scene after a 911 call was made just before 8pm on Saturday. New York Post in question The call came while the attack was still ongoing.

The NY Post said police responded to a residence near Peck Boulevard and 64th Street in Fresh Meadows, Queens, where they encountered critically injured victims.
EMS transported the couple to local hospitals for emergency treatment, the Daily News added.
According to the NY Post, the man was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, the man was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and the woman was taken to North Shore University Hospital.

Both victims were later pronounced dead, according to reports.
