Senate Banking Committee holds confirmation hearing for Trump Fed nominee Miran

The Senate Banking Committee will take a hearing for Stephen Miran on Thursday.
Miran, who was nominated by President Donald Trump to fill the Open Federal Reserve Governor evacuated by Adriana Kugler, will be under investigation between questions about the independence of the FED.
On Wednesday, Miran promised to fulfill the independence of the central bank and the dual price stability and maximum employment.
“In my opinion, the most important job of the Central Bank is to prevent depression and hyperfinations. The independence of monetary policy is a critical element for the success of monetary policy.” He said.
The hearing will start at 10 o’clock.
