England: Chris Woakes may risk rehab over surgery to be fit for Ashes

Chris Woakes said that rehabilitation may be a risk that Britain is willing to be suitable for ashes instead of surgery in the shoulder injury carried out in the fifth test defeat against India. “
The 36 -year -old awaits the results of a scanning after being exposed to a suspicious exit on the first day on Oval.
The UK had taken it out of the rest of the test, but on a dramatic final morning, the series chased a small victory and went to the bat with a hanger left arm.
The first ashes test starts on November 21 at Perth.
WOES, BBC Sport told, “I am waiting to see what the scope of the damage is, but I think the options will be surgery or to go down to a rehabilitation path and to make as strong as possible and try.” He said.
“I think there will be a chance to repeat naturally, but I think it may be the risk of just being willing to get something.
“As far as I hear from physias and experts, the rehabilitation of a surgery option will be more than four months or three to four months. This touches the ashes and Australia, so it makes it difficult.
“In terms of a rehabilitation, you can probably make it strong again in eight weeks. This may be an option, but it is still waiting to get a full report.”
