England squad: Uncapped James Garner and Jason Steele named by Thomas Tuchel in England squad

Everton midfielder James Garner and Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele are the two uncapped players in Thomas Tuchel’s extended 35-man England squad.

This is Tuchel’s penultimate squad before making his selection for the 2026 World Cup.

Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo were recalled in the expanded squad, while AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori returned for the first time since November 2018.

Leeds striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns after more than five years since his last call-up, with Dominic Solanke joining his first squad since October 2024.

However, there is no room in Tuchel’s squad for Real Madrid full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold or Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott.
