Epstein said ‘this is Charles’s doing’ on the day Andrew lost his UK trade envoy job

Emails reveal Jeffrey Epstein accused Charles on the same day Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was forced to resign as Britain’s trade ambassador.

On July 21, 2011 – when it was publicly announced that the then Prince would be stepping down as the UK’s special representative for international trade and investment – the convicted sex offender wrote: ‘I assume you know Charles did this.’

The message was in response to an employee who told him: ‘There is a lot of TV broadcasting on PA and there is always a big story. Unbelievable.’

It appears that ‘PA’ refers to Prince Andrew.

At the time, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had served as the UK’s special representative for international trade and investment for a decade from 2001 to 2011.

His high-profile role gave him access to senior government figures and powerful business leaders around the world.

He stepped back from his post amid increasing scrutiny and criticism over his ongoing relationship with US financier and convicted sex offender Epstein.

A photograph of the couple walking together in New York had already made headlines and intensified public pressure in the months before his departure.

The emails are among three million files released by the US Department of Justice offering snippets of private conversations from the period when Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Epstein’s association attracted global attention nearly 15 years ago.

Epstein spent most of the day emailing contacts with the news that Andrew had lost his official business role.

In another message, Epstein wrote: ‘I’m sure it’s good for him, he’ll be free now.’

He also forwarded a news article about Andrew resigning to Ghislaine Maxwell, who simply replied: ‘why?’

Epstein responded: ‘I think he wants to make money.’

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, now 66, was arrested last Thursday on suspicion of abuse of public office after being accused of leaking secrets to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein while serving as Britain’s trade envoy.

He was released under investigation after 11 hours in custody and police confirmed last night that searches had been completed at his former Windsor mansion, Royal Lodge.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied any wrongdoing.

The Epstein files triggered worldwide outrage; The photographic evidence is among the most shocking materials in the vast cache of documents.

In one photograph in particular, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor looms over a young woman sprawled on the ground; It turned out that this photo hurt her more than any other photo in the publication.

The 66-year-old’s arrest marks the first time a member of the Royal Family has been arrested since 1647.

He was given the prestigious post of trade ambassador in 2001, following the end of a 22-year Royal Navy career that was heralded as a fresh start.

For more than a decade, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor traveled extensively, forged questionable relationships and spent large sums of money on taxpayer-funded foreign trips.

His fondness for long-haul flights, mostly to ski resorts and elite golf courses, earned him the nickname Air Miles Andy.

He was eventually forced to resign in July 2011 after months of public outcry over his connections to Epstein.
