Meghan Markle’s mistake she could make in the UK – ‘reopen old wounds’ | Royal | News

So while Meghan may be nervous about returning, a brand and culture expert said the duchess would be fine as long as she didn’t address “past controversies”.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Express, brand and culture expert Nick Ede also touched on the risk of reopening “old wounds” as the biggest mistake Meghan could make.

She said: “The biggest mistake Meghan could make is appearing defensive or trying to touch on past arguments during the visit.

“This visit should be about creating new memories rather than reopening old wounds.”

It is believed that Meghan will appear with her husband at the one-year countdown event to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

There was no mention of anything else Meghan and Harry might do in public during their holiday in the UK.
