FBI’s Kash Patel Sues The Atlantic for $250M Alleging Defamation

FBI director Kash Patel has filed a $250 million lawsuit against The Atlantic Monthly Group for what he calls a “generic, malicious and defamatory hit piece.” On April 17, The Atlantic reported that “bouting bouts of drinking” had affected Patel’s ability to serve as director, citing unnamed sources identified as “more than two dozen people, including current and former FBI officials.” NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell reports for TODAY.
