Finance Ministry organises workshop on industry 4.0 adoption, digital transformation in CPSEs
New Delhi [India]July 19 (Memorial): In a strategic step to promote innovation and smart production, the Ministry of Finance held a workshop on Industry 4.0 in the New Delhi.
The workshop held on Friday aimed to discuss strategies in order to adopt and scal the industry 4.0 technologies in various sectors, including energy, power, construction, infrastructure, telecom and services. The workshop, which lasted all day long, was launched by the Ministry of Finance.
The workshop was opened by K Moses Charai, the secretary of the Department of Public Enterprises, which emphasizes the importance of embracing the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) as a national mission.
At the address, the “All CPSES” approach-the lines of the “entire government” frame-all CPSs to integrate 4ir activations such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Objects (IoT), Digital Gemini, 3D Printing and 5G sufficient infrastructures. He said that Industry 4.0 was also taken into account in the future of the CPSE MU evaluation framework and early adoption would be the key to increase global competitiveness.
As part of the expert presentations in the workshop, anand, distribution expert, rich experience in digital design, reverse engineering and 3D printing applications in industrial sectors and shared a rich experience by taking advantage of India’s first 5G laboratories and 3D printing centers; Dr. Prabhjot Singh Sugga, associate professor at SPA, emphasized the transformative potential of digital twin platforms in infrastructure, plant management and disaster flexibility; And Mrs. Vidushi Chaturvedi, a AI expert, spoke about the foresight analytical, resource optimization and intelligent decision -making artificial intelligence and machine learning.
CPSs such as Powergrrid, HSCC and BSNL exhibited successful pilots in Effective Supply Chains in AI -oriented maintenance, digital simulation and 3D printing.
The workshop has made the active participation of NTPC, NHPC, Gail, Concor, IRCTC, RITES, AAI and Wapcos, including interactive discussions about the strategic road maps of CMDs and Industry 4.0, capacity development and industry -specific adoption of the sector.
Negotiations, 4IR technologies, oil and gas, railways, mining, health, Handlooms and infrastructure, such as the level of relevance, as specified in the DPE concept document and shared during the event, the adoption potential matrix shared during the event, the CPSs in the undergraduate industry for operational excellent and sustainable development. The workshop is an important step towards realizing this vision through collective efforts and strategic practice in the CBSE ecosystem.
