Finn Balor’s ‘Demon’ returns to beat Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 42

Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio were once brothers in arms in Doomsday. The duo helped run the group’s “Monday Night Raw” program for several years.
As championships and opportunities came and went, the gap between Balor and Mysterio grew. This came to a head when Balor caused Mysterio to lose the Intercontinental Championship to Penta. By leaving Judgment Day, Balor left Mysterio and Liv Morgan as leaders, leaving JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez to stick around.

He chose to go with Mysterio in the final four and attacked Balor on an episode of Raw.
The bitter battle led to a match at WrestleMania 42 on Sunday night. To make things more interesting, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce turned the match into a street fight hours before the show was supposed to start.
Balor promised to bring out “The Devil” and he certainly did.

Balor made his way to the ring in his “Satan” gear dripping with red and black paint. Mysterio was wearing a mask along with other Mysterio supporters.
The two then started pounding each other’s assholes.
Mysterio pinned Balor’s head between the chair and hit him with the 619. He tried to pin Balor but it didn’t work. At another point, Mysterio threw Balor through a table set up in the corner.
As many have learned, it is difficult to overcome your demons. Mysterio learned the hard way.
Balor wasn’t going to give up. Balor clotheslined Mysterio, hit him with a chair multiple times, then stuck his head in between the chair and knocked him into the corner. Balor put Mysterio through the table and hit the Coup de Grâce for the win.
