Five-bed heatstroke ward opened at Erode government hospital

Due to increasing temperatures in the district, a 5-bed heatstroke prevention ward was opened at the Government Headquarters Hospital here.

While temperatures have been around 40°C for the last few days, intense heat prevails between 9 am and 5 pm. Sweltering conditions also affect sleep by causing discomfort at night.
