Five killed, including two children, in Mahbubnagar bypass road accident

Five people, including two children, died in a traffic accident that occurred on Mahbubnagar ring road in the early hours of Monday, May 11, 2026.

The accident occurred when the sports motorcycle Suzuki Hayabusa (HR 26 BP 1491) crashed into a car trying to turn on X road between 12.30 and 01.00.

According to the police, the vehicle with code TS 06 FG 4970 was heading towards Kanakpet after its occupants attended an event. While the vehicle was turning from the ring road junction, the motorcycle heading towards Hyderabad hit the car from behind.

Two people on the motorcycle died at the scene. Three passengers in the backseat of the car, including a woman, her seven-year-old son, and her sister-in-law’s 18-month-old child, also died from injuries sustained in the collision.

Police said there were eight people in the vehicle at the time of the accident, and the brunt of the collision was those sitting in the back seat. Another woman was injured and was treated. The identities of those killed have not yet been determined and no formal complaints have yet been filed.
