Flipkart makes it easier for customers to upgrade their electronics and devices with an extended exchange program. The e-commerce company announced the program covering 26 product categories, including mobile phones and large devices.

Why does Flipkart do this?

The aim is to make premium products more suitable, especially for people in small cities. Flipkart wants to help customers earn more value for their money and encourage them to use the platform more often. The company claims that many households have unused devices and devices. These elements now serve as a form of “home unit” form that can be transformed into value instantly in new purchases.

How does it work?

Flipkart uses a new AI system to quickly evaluate devices. Trained experts will use a “10 -step diagnostic frame” to assess the status of the device. This will allow customers to get an instant value for older products.

The program also allows inter -category changes. This means that you can change an old phone for a washing machine for a refrigerator or a new laptop.

How to use the exchange program:

1. Select the product: Select an appropriate item and tap ‘Exchange Offer’ option.
2. Enter the device details: Give information about the brand, model and status of your old device to obtain exchange value.
3. Instant Refund: The value of the change value will be deducted from the price of your new purchase.
4. Order: Select a delivery time and provide shipping details.
5. Door Exchange: When your new item is delivered, an expert will examine your old item, confirm the value, and complete the change after confirming a OTP.

Flipkart also improves the Recommerce system with pricing, application -based diagnosis and image authentication that works with artificial intelligence. They also work with more sellers to offer a wider range of products for change.
