Nalgonda Medical College Denies Ragging on Campus

Nalgonda: News broadcast by some of the television channels claiming that a sad incident took place at the Government Medical College in Nalgonda on October 31 and November 4 created excitement in the region.

After the broadcast, the police came to the university and started an investigation. According to reports, sophomores allegedly attacked freshmen on October 31 and November 1.

Reacting to the news, university director Dr. J. Satyanarayana issued a press release explaining that a preliminary investigation was being conducted and no such incident had been reported. He said no first-year student has filed a complaint or written complaint so far.

As you may remember, in 2024, four students from the same university were suspended from school for allegedly harassing third-year students.
