Florida launches criminal investigation into ChatGPT over school shooting

Florida’s attorney general has opened a criminal investigation into allegations that ChatGPT helped a suspect at Florida State University film the logistics of the crime. OpenAI said in a statement that ChatGPT “provides factual answers to questions with information widely available on the internet and does not promote or encourage illegal or harmful activities.”
