Caleb Yirenkyi – midfielder, FC Nordsjaelland
Yirenkyi is only 19 years old but has played nine times for Ghana so far, that is his promise. The midfielder has made 17 appearances in Denmark’s top league so far this season. He is known for his versatility as a right-back in the national team.
Rodrigo Mora – midfielder/winger, FC Porto
The 18-year-old Portuguese midfielder performed impressively last year. He scored and assisted on his first start for Porto and became the youngest European goalscorer in the competition’s history when he scored against Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup last summer.
Kees Smit – midfielder, AZ Alkmaar
It has been reported that 19-year-old Dutch midfielder Smit attracted the attention of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid after he was selected as the player of the tournament at the European Under-19 Championship held in Romania in June.
Pedro Henrique – striker, FK Zenit
Also known as Pedrinho or Pedro, the 19-year-old striker has exciting close-control skills and tremendous confidence; which has led many observers to suggest that he could be Brazil’s next superstar.
Rayan Vitor – striker, Vasco da Gama
Another exciting Brazilian youngster, the 19-year-old striker, also known as Rayan, recently helped his country win the South American Under-20 Championship. He was also named the best newcomer of the 2025 Campeonato Brasileiro and finished the 2025 Copa do Brasil as top scorer with five goals.
Jorge Salinas – defender, Racing Santander
Salinas, the 18-year-old Spanish defender who can play as a center back or left back, joined the Racing Santander A team in December 2024. He has played 13 times in Spain’s second league so far this season.
Joane Gadou – defender, RB Salzburg
Gadou may only be 18 years old, but at 1.80m tall, he already makes an imposing presence at centre-back. The French-born youngster came through Paris St-Germain’s youth system before joining RB Salzburg in September 2024. He has featured regularly in both the Austrian top-flight league and the Europa League this season.
Alvaro Montoro – midfielder, Botafogo
The 18-year-old Argentinian midfielder is another player causing excitement in South America. Montoro can perform well in tight spaces and has excellent passing skills.
