Former BJD MP Manjulata Mandal, ex-MLA husband Muktikanta and others quit party

In a setback to the opposition BJD in Odisha’s Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency, many leaders have resigned from the party’s primary membership due to internal discord, sources said on Sunday (April 26, 2026).

Among those leaving office are former MP Manjulata Mandal and her husband, former Dhamnagar MLA Muktikanta Mandal.
