Former KSEB cashier held after evading sentence in graft case

VACB arrested a former cashier of KSEB sub-engineer’s office at Tholikkode here and absconded after the court directed him to surrender to serve his sentence in a corruption case, officials said on Saturday.

Sakkeer Hussain, a native of Nedumangad, was arrested by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) in Charummoodu on Friday morning.
